Dear all,In just over a week, our conference 'Exposing Crimes Is Not A Crime: The Real-World Consequences of WikiLeaks' will take place at HAU Hebbel am Ufer (HAU 1) in Berlin and Stadtwerkstatt (Berlin-Mitte).
The year 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the foundation of WikiLeaks. This symposium explores its legacy, why its work mattered, and how society and politics shifted as its global releases exposed systems of power. WikiLeaks members, journalists, lawyers, experts, artists, activists, and major whistleblowers will come together for four days in Berlin.
In light of the current global political conflicts, it is now more important than ever that we discuss topics such as war, surveillance, secrecy, and new paths for action and resistance. You will find details of the speakers and panels below and here:
