But why using this object for Computer Graphics rendering? Why this specific 1974 Melitta teapot has become such an icon of computer graphics? Exploring the question is maybe more than just a strange investigation in 3d modeling softwares; it is the technological but also the cultural quest of digital media, its history and logics. Focusing on the process to underline the aesthetics and meaning of shape, this exhibition links an interactive installation, done in collaboration with Lab[au], with design furnitures, prints and realtime computer generated images. On-site express itself as a system rather than an object, expanding this philosophy of design into the pure audiovisual screen-artefacts, the designer will present also a collection of soundreactive objects. The title refers to the interrelation between ' music ' and ' the city ' - its structures - and its flows ' density ', qualifying contemporary architectural and sonic concepts.
